Monopoly Live brings one of the world’s best-known board games to the live casino. Evolution launched it in 2019, combining a classic money wheel with a 3D bonus round in which Mr Monopoly himself walks around the board collecting prizes. It quickly became one of the most played live game shows in the UK, alongside Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette. In this Monopoly Live review we explain how the wheel works, what the Chance segments and bonus rolls offer and what you should know about the odds.

How Monopoly Live Works
![]()
A live host spins a large vertical money wheel. Before each spin, you place your bets on one or more of the six bet spots: the numbers 1, 2, 5 and 10, and the bonus segments 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls. If the wheel stops on a number you backed, you win your stake multiplied by that number, plus your stake back. If it stops on a bonus segment you backed, you join the bonus round.
The Wheel Segments
| Segment | Number on the wheel | Pays |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 22 | 1 to 1 |
| 2 | 15 | 2 to 1 |
| 5 | 7 | 5 to 1 |
| 10 | 4 | 10 to 1 |
| 2 Rolls | 3 | Bonus round with two dice rolls |
| 4 Rolls | 1 | Bonus round with four dice rolls |
| Chance | 2 | Cash prize or multiplier |
The table shows why the number 1 wins so often but pays the least, and why 4 Rolls appears only once on the wheel but offers the most exciting bonus.
Chance Segments
You cannot bet on the Chance segment directly. When the wheel stops on Chance, the host draws a Chance card. It either awards an instant cash prize to everyone with a bet on the round, or a multiplier that applies to the next spin. Several Chance results in a row can stack up multipliers, which adds extra tension to the following spin.
The Monopoly Bonus Round
When the wheel lands on 2 Rolls or 4 Rolls, players who backed that segment enter the bonus round. The screen switches to a 3D version of the Monopoly board. Mr Monopoly rolls two dice and moves around the board, collecting the multiplier shown on each space he lands on. Rolling doubles gives him an extra roll, which can make the bonus much longer and more valuable.
The board includes the familiar features of the original game, such as Chance and Community Chest spaces, railways, utilities and the jail. Each space carries its own multiplier, and the total of all the spaces Mr Monopoly lands on is paid out at the end of the bonus. Because 4 Rolls gives Mr Monopoly twice as many rolls, it is the most valuable bonus, but also the rarest.
RTP and Odds
The RTP of Monopoly Live depends on the bet you choose, with a maximum of 96.23%. The bonus bets usually have a slightly different RTP than the number bets. Check the help menu in the game for the exact figure for each bet spot.
The volatility depends on how you play. Betting only on 1 and 2 gives frequent small wins, while the bonus segments land rarely but can pay much more. Many players combine a number bet with a small bet on the bonus segments.
Monopoly Live on Mobile
Monopoly Live is designed for mobile play and works smoothly on iPhone, Android phones and tablets. The bet buttons are large, the wheel is clearly visible and the 3D bonus round looks great on a phone. A stable internet connection helps the live stream keep up with the action.
Playing Monopoly Live in the UK
Monopoly Live is available at UK-licensed casinos that offer Evolution’s live casino. You must be 18 or over, credit cards cannot be used and you have access to deposit limits, reality checks and self-exclusion through GamStop. Bonuses often exclude live casino games or count them only partly towards wagering, which is capped at 10x since January 2026.
Monopoly Live vs Other Game Shows
Monopoly Live is often compared with Crazy Time. Crazy Time offers four different bonus games and a top slot multiplier, while Monopoly Live focuses on one detailed bonus round and Chance multipliers. If you prefer a classic casino game with a twist, Lightning Roulette adds random multipliers to roulette. Read our full guide to live game shows for more titles.
A Typical Monopoly Live Session
Most rounds of Monopoly Live last well under a minute. The host greets the players, the betting window closes, the wheel spins and the result is settled straight away. Every few rounds a Chance card adds a cash prize or a multiplier, and now and then a bonus round takes the whole studio to the 3D board. Many players keep a small bet on the bonus segments throughout the session, so they are never left watching a big Monopoly bonus from the sidelines.
Tips for Playing Monopoly Live
- Understand the wheel: the 1 segment lands most often but pays the least.
- Do not cover every spot: spreading your stake across all bets does not guarantee a profit.
- Keep bonus bets small: 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls land rarely, so long runs without a bonus are normal.
- Set a budget per session: rounds follow each other quickly.
- Enjoy the show: treat the bonus round as entertainment, not as something you can predict.
Is Monopoly Live Worth Playing?
Yes. Monopoly Live is one of the most entertaining live casino games, with a familiar theme, simple betting and a bonus round that feels like a real TV show. The odds are similar to other money wheels, so it is best enjoyed with a clear budget.
